GTA 6 real locations: Miamiand Florida places

GTA 6 does not take place in Florida. It takes place in Leonida, a fictional state, and the Rockstar pages we opened do not name Miami or Florida. Confirmed Press outlets describe Leonida as Florida-inspired and Vice City as Miami-like. Unconfirmed

That makes a useful travel list, as long as you treat each link below as an outlet's comparison, not a Rockstar statement.

What Rockstar says

Rockstar's tagline for the game is "the darkest side of the sunniest place in America." Confirmed Its official pages describe Vice City neighbourhoods including Ocean Beach, with pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands, and Little Cuba. Confirmed Leonida Keys is called a beachside tropical paradise. Confirmed Variety called Vice City "the Miami-like hotspot" and Leonida "Florida-inspired".
