The short answer
Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, at local midnight, and you can buy from the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store and retailers worldwide Confirmed. The Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 in the US. Both launch on November 19, 2026.

Rockstar's editions page says the Ultimate Edition is digital only and the Standard Edition comes as digital or code in box Confirmed. Take-Two says the physical version holds a download code inside the box and is available from November 12 Confirmed. PlayStation's offer terms apply the free GTA+ month to digital versions Confirmed.
How to pre-order digitally
- Choose your platform: PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. No other platform is announced.
- Open the game page on your console's store or on the Rockstar Games Store.
- Pick Standard or Ultimate. If you buy Standard you can upgrade later: Xbox lists the upgrade at $20.00.
- Buy before November 20, 2026 on PlayStation and the Rockstar store to get the Vintage Vice City Pack. The Xbox listing words the cutoff as before November 19, so follow the date on the page where you buy.
- Claim the GTA+ month. On PlayStation the deadline is March 31, 2027, one claim per account, and it renews unless you cancel. Xbox says redeem within 180 days.
Terms worth reading first
- The PlayStation offer is not available in Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia or Taiwan Confirmed. The Xbox listing says the GTA+ month is not available to child accounts with restricted age content Confirmed.
- The Rockstar Games Store page points to a refund and return policy but we did not read its terms, so we make no claim about refunds. Unconfirmed
- Take-Two's CEO said on the August 7 earnings call that pre-orders "remain cancelable", which is a statement about company reporting, not a store refund policy Confirmed.
Is there a PC pre-order?
No. No PC version is announced.
Do I get the pack if I buy later?
Buying before November 20 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, according to PlayStation and Rockstar's store. After that, we have not seen what applies.
Can I pre-load a physical copy?
Yes. Redeem the code, then download from November 12.
