There is no FiveM, roleplay server or community-server support announced for GTA 6. Confirmed The game launches November 19, 2026 as a single-player experience on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so there is nothing to roleplay on at launch. Confirmed

What Rockstar and Take-Two have said

Rockstar's pre-order announcement, published through Take-Two, describes a single-player experience. Confirmed At the September 17, 2026 shareholder meeting, CEO Strauss Zelnick described GTA 6 as a single-player launch. Confirmed Details are in our GTA 6 online status guide.

Neither company has announced FiveM, RedM or any other roleplay tool for GTA 6. Confirmed Any "GTA 6 FiveM release date" you see online is a guess.

Who owns FiveM

Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM and RedM, and announced it on August 11, 2023. Confirmed GTA BOOM's report quotes Rockstar saying it had watched the community with excitement. Rockstar also widened its mod policy to cover roleplay creators at that point, per the same report. Unconfirmed

In a May 2026 Business Insider profile, as relayed by GTA BOOM, Zelnick explained the deal as joining the community rather than fighting it. Unconfirmed The same GTA BOOM piece says the profile contains no commitment to RP support for GTA 6. Unconfirmed

GTA 5 RP today

Roleplay lives on GTA 5. Tubefilter reports that GTA RP Week returned to Twitch from September 8 to 30, 2026, with Rockstar calling the invite-only NoPixel V server "the next evolution" of GTA 5 roleplay. Unconfirmed That is context about GTA 5, not a promise about GTA 6.

What the mod rules say

Inven Global reports that Rockstar's September 2026 mod guidelines limit multiplayer modding to its licensed Creator Platform, or to cases where Rockstar licenses it separately. Unconfirmed The same report says GTA 6 falls under these rules. A community server for GTA 6 would need that sort of permission. See our mods and PC modding guide.
